This 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sedan is an awesome powerhouse of a machine. We have receipts showing there was nearly $50k invested in the engine and drivetrain alone. In fact, while this was the era of the 409 motor, this special classic has a properly-built 509ci motor that was dyno-tested to make 614 horsepower! And while this has street-eating muscle, we're also just attracted to the overall style because the design this year stays in demand for its exclusive touches. There was curved glass in the front, and the wraparound rear windshield gave you a sporty overhang. Plus, there's the absolutely awesome stylized sheet metal where the profile has a design line that wraps around the rear and creates the dipping “V” in the rear panel. And as you look over the car inside and out, you'll see one of the coolest setups around. They try to keep it as vintage and authentic as they can on what you see and that's all masking a big investment in pure power.

*509 cubic-inch V8 professionally built in 2020
-Bill Mitchell Products (BMP) aluminum crate block

It's hard to call this one a sleeper just because of the serious thunder it brings to the streets. But there's also a level of respect for vintage style that makes this nice. It's in the way the large exhaust tips are hidden by being notched ahead of the rear wheels. And the finish inside and out is less about flame-job customs and a bit more grandma's Sunday church cruiser. It gives you the feeling of respect for the distinct 1961 style... right before you mash the accelerator and let this 614-horsepower beast accelerate you into the future. So if you want to own the streets with almighty power, you can't let this Bel Air get away. Call today!!!
