The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was one of the baddest cars on the streets, and it's one of the most desired muscle cars today. So finding one with right look, big-block power, A/C, and a killer interior might just be the right way to become the king of the neighborhood.
The recipe for getting a Chevelle SS right is not a hard one, but it sure is expensive. For example, this one meant investing heavily in a show-quality respray that transformed what was once a Forest Green coupe, into the mean machine you see today. The sought after Tuxedo Black paint shines like glass, and it highlights the exceptionally straight body. White SS stripes on a cowl induction hood, and the hood pins, are a big part of the appeal of the Super Sport model. But there's also other unmistakable details like the blacked-out SS grille and all the correct badging. Nice chrome bumpers and polished stainless fender trim help complete a package that looks ready for a weekend's worth of cruising.
The black bucket seat interior has the same desirable mean and clean attitude as the exterior. The carpets, door panels, headliner, and seats have all been looked over in this one, and anything that didn't feel factory ... Please ask for the full description.

The carpets, door panels, headliner, and seats have all been looked over in this one, and anything that didn't feel factory fresh was replaced. The result is a great place to spend some time. You can hop in and grab the three-spoke steering wheel with your left hand, and your right one is instantly attracted to the iconic horseshoe shifter in the center console. The correct full round gauge set includes a tach, and within easy reach of that is the upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo. But what really puts this over the top as the overall best cruiser is the cold-blowing air conditioning.
The reason why we love the Chevelle is because that true muscle car vibe is just begging for a big block. Sometimes it will just make your whole day seeing the bright orange of this 454 cubic-inch V8 block peeking out from all the dark elements of the engine bay. But even with this midnight attitude under the hood, this one still has the correct chrome valve covers that come with the big V8. There is no way you'll slip through the night unnoticed, thanks to the roar that comes from the long tube headers that connect to a Flowmaster dual exhaust. The total power package reliably gets to the ground via a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear end. Control stays well in hand thanks to front disc brakes and BF Goodrich tires on all of the correct SS wheels.
If you're going to get a big block Chevelle, do it right. Make sure it has an aggressive appearance inside and out, and it also has the bark to match its bite. In other words, here's your perfect American muscle machine. Call today!!
