We know you fell in love with this the moment you laid eyes on it. There's no resisting the big bold yellow paint with hot rod flames that consume the entire cab. There are plenty of custom elements you'll pick up on immediately such as the painted fiberglass front end, chopped cab with single-piece windshield, and the mirror-like gloss of the real wood truck bed. The tan leather bench seat is a custom job that even includes a removable center console with welcomed cup holders. Matching door panels, headliner, and carpet are just nice reminders of how much was invested in this build. Plus, you get plenty of premium touches such as power windows, AM/FM/cassette stereo, and provisions for air conditioning. The driver gets to sit behind a Grant wood-rimmed steering wheel on a tilt column. Beyond that is a full set of Dolphin gauges, which is a constant reminder that there's something special under the hood.

The engine bay has a nice bold appearance that matches the rest of this truck's attitude. But even if people look past elements like the shiny valve coves and neon green spark plug wires, you can wow them with the fact that this is a 327 cubic-inch V8 out of a classic '64 Corvette. It also has a nice added performance bite thanks to the Edelbrock air cleaner, four-barrel carburetor, and Edelbrock intake. It gives this GMC a pretty nice growl out of the glasspack dual exhaust. But more than just a cool hot rod, this one is fun to take down the road, thanks to upgrades such as the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, rack and pinion steering, front disc brakes, and independent front suspension.

There were less than 26,000 GMC CC pickups made after WWII before they switched over to the new EC series. So you know how exceptional it makes this one 70 years later.
