The owner of this Volkswagen Beetle wanted to create the best looking and driving Beetle possible. To that end a lavish amount of funds, along with a tremendous amount of work, thought and creativity went into this exceptional VW. The foundation of any build is the engine built by Competition Engineering, which is a 2110cc Supercase 90 with a forged 82mm crank, chevy rods, Autocraft 1.25 rockers, FK10 cam, Outlaw 044 heads, Total Seal rings, HD oil pump, remote filler and a deep sump pan. Additionally, this Beetle is equipped with dual 44 IDF Weber carburetors. The car shifts excellently and with a Freeway Flyer transaxle by Arizona Transaxle Tech, lighted 1700 lb clutch and a EMPI shifter. There is a great exhaust system out the back and the cover over the engine is vented. The upgraded staggered 15” and 16” wheels by Spirit of America on this classic allowed the use of modern tires and front disc brakes to create a safer and pleasurable driving experience, as well as a great stance. Over $25,000 was spent on the mechanical rebuild and upgrades to this classic ... Please ask for the full description.

Exceptional driving Beetle

This 1973 Beetle has been modified with 1957 VW fenders and bumpers, giving it a classic look with shielded headlights and small taillamps converted to LED. The doors have a clean look thanks to the elimination of the vent windows and the installation of a new one-piece door glass. Over $8,500 was spent on the body, resulting in an arrow-straight body with a beautiful deep paint finish. The interior, including the door panels and headliner, are custom trimmed in an attractive and comfortable suede-like material. Other interior highlights are a cold air conditioning system, Auto Meter Phantom ll gauges, Grant steering wheel, billet window cranks and a fabulous-sounding Kenwood Soundsystem with four speakers. If you have been searching for high-quality, attractive, fast, solid driving Beetle, this is the car for you!
