355 BLUEPRINT CRATE ENGINE, 700R4 OVERDRIVE, COLD A/C, UPGRADED SUSPENSION, WOW!

These final years of El Caminos had one of the sleekest styles of all the generations. So to find a 1987 Chevrolet El Camino that combines this appeal with shining 400+hp V8 power, a loaded A/C interior, and an intricate two-tone color theme makes it a terrific affordable classic.

This is the last year for the El Camino, and this car/truck feels like it's taking a Chevy victory lap. It has cool upgrades that remind us of the best of the bow tire brand. This includes the dual racing stripes, Chevelle-like wide exhaust tips, Mag-style SS wheel, and a rear spoiler that looks inspired by the first-gen Camaro. There's also plenty of Americana brightwork with the chrome bumpers, emblems, full-length stainless trim, and the upgraded billet grille. So it's quite a thoughtfully done classic. That's why the burgundy and silver two-tone is comprehensively intertwined. Plus, the bed not only has a hard tonneau cover, but there's also a padded carpet underneath protecting the floor.

The loaded interior is a great reminder that this is a truck with sedan-like plushness. The bucket seats provide plenty of individual comfort, and your seat even power adjusts to the ideal driving position. There ... Please ask for the full description.

The loaded interior is a great reminder that this is a truck with sedan-like plushness. The bucket seats provide plenty of individual comfort, and your seat even power adjusts to the ideal driving position. There are plenty of nice factory features, like power windows, power locks, cruise control, and a tilt steering column that helps give you a clear view of the full gauge package. Plus, this one has been upgraded for added comfort with an upgraded stereo, cup holders, and factory air conditioning is now blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. Plus, the updated gauges, wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, and B&M shifter let you know there's a nice upgrade under the hood.

You might want to grab your sunglasses before looking under the hood. Just about every component that could be polished was, including the air cleaner, valve covers, alternator, compressor, and March pulleys. But beyond the shine is some serious performance substance. It's a 355 cubic-inch BluePrint crate motor. It was installed in 2015 for over $13k, and the full build includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a high-rise intake, aluminum heads, and Hedman headers. The Dyno sheet even shows that this total package peaks at an impressive 420 horsepower! It feels confident on the road thanks to an upgraded front suspension and an SS-style rear suspension with boxed trailing arms and a rear sway bar. In fact, this custom was built for true everyday comfort that's why you have a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, power steering, power brakes, and front discs.

The sale comes complete with build receipts and the dyno sheet. This is a final-year El Camino that completes the legacy by offering the best of classic Chevy muscle...including the big V8 power. Call today!!!
