This is like no other Olds you've ever seen. This 1953 Oldsmobile Super 88 Convertible is the perfect combination of custom sleek exterior, comfy interior, upgraded suspension, and 455ci big block power under the hood.
We know you love the deep and glossy Rosewood Red that makes a striking first impression. But it takes a lot creativity beyond just awesome paint to get a custom Olds like this. The front sheetmetal was smoothed out with the expert deletion of trim, including underneath the headlight that are now frenched. They also added some terrifically subtle pinstriping leading the way. One thing they did not change was the chrome bumper. The dual design has an artful curve that's a signature piece of the post-war Olds design, and so they invested in this to make sure it shines like a mirror. The side trim shows off more of the distinct Olds style while also highlighting the straightness of the sheetmetal. Plus, when the white convertible top is in place, it goes so well with the classic whitewalls. The rear design follows the front by deleting the trim to draw more attention to the beautiful chrome bumper. .

If you like the way the white top looked against the red exterior, then with the flip of a switch, you'll love powering down the roof to show off a great deep red and white two-tone interior. This well-matched color theme was meant to be shown off to the world, and so you know there was plenty of care that went into this whole build. In fact, the thoughtfulness is everywhere you look, that's why even the trunk has the same tuck and roll inserts as the seats. You get some great features like a power front seat, remote door openers, and a retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo. Plus, there are also provisions for power windows and air conditioning. You'll love slipping behind the cool dual-spoke factory steering wheel that gives you a full view of the classic gauges, added tach, and the pinstriping on the dash that coordinates with the exterior. You will also notice a custom center console was made to include 2 cupholders and a screen for the backup camera!
Under the hood is a serious upgrade. It would be 15 years after this car was born that Oldsmobile would finally get up to the 455 cubic-inch Rocket V8, but this monster motor fits right at home in this custom convertible. It even has a terrific look with the air topper and firewall painted to match. While a big V8 would be enough for some, this one was enhanced further with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. This all allows the glasspack dual exhaust to make a sweet song. More than just powerful, this Olds was built to be a terrific cruiser. That why you have an upgraded front suspension, control arms in the rear, power steering, front disc brakes, and a three-speed automatic transmission.
This is a true custom machine with power and amenities. So if you're looking for the ultimate cruising droptop, call today!!!
