When it debuted in 1984, the fourth-generation Corvette was nothing short of revolutionary. Spanning twelve years from 1984 to 1996, there were many of these Corvettes made in different trims and specs. That torquey motor sends power through a ZF six-speed manual transmission, which is a pleasant surprise when it comes to convertible Corvettes, which are typically optioned with fun-sucking automatics.
