When it debuted in 1984, the fourth-generation Corvette was nothing short of revolutionary. Spanning twelve years from 1984 to 1996, there were many of these Corvettes made in different trims and specs. But you'll be hard-pressed to find an example quite like the 1990 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible we have for you today. A white-on-white exterior and top juxtaposed with its black interior with what we believe to be all original paint and body panels and just 20,226 miles on the odometer.
Under the hood we find an L98 5.7-liter pushrod V-8 making 245 hp and 345 lb-ft of torque. The stock intake and exhaust manifolds remain, as does the tuned-port injection system, while a MagnaFlow muffler has replaced the stock piece to give this car a slightly more appropriate growl than its original voice. That torquey motor sends power through a ZF six-speed manual transmission, which is a pleasant surprise when it comes to convertible Corvettes, which are typically optioned with fun-sucking automatics. This C4 has also been optioned out with the FX3 Sports Suspension package that makes the most of the Corvette's front and rear independent setup while riding on those sharp-looking seventeen-inch factory ... 1990 marks a slight change in the C4. The original exterior styling remains intact, but the interior benefits from an updated contoured design. This car also has the optional Bose CD player stereo system, which was one of the pricier options at the time (remember, this was a year after the fall of the Berlin Wall). This 1990 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is in rarified air, being a manual transmission drop-top that also comes with an upgraded stereo, suspension, and an auxiliary hard top. If you've been looking to get your hands on a low-mileage C4 finally, this is your car. Call today!
