This 2002 Jeep Wrangler is proof that a more modern Jeep really gets the formula right. It still retains all the usual Jeep ruggedness, 4x4 drivetrain, classic squared-off bodywork, round headlights, and even adaptability for nice upgrades. But this modern classic proves why later models are the best with plenty of modern comforts - including fuel injection, stunning paint, and cold-blowing A/C. So on or off-road, this is the tool of choice.
While all Wranglers are “Trail Rated,” this one's body doesn't look like there have been many hard days off the beaten path. So the factory Stone White paint continues to have a vibrant shine. It's a well-kept application that really proves this actual mileage SUV has been treated with top care. The black fender flares, side steps, and tinted window soft top are all part of a coordinated darkness that looks timelessly tasteful against the white. And we especially like the added black Jeep star on the fenders. There are more upgrades, but most of them have to do with adding shine. Description
While all Wranglers are "Trail Rated," this one's body doesn't look like there have been many hard days off the beaten path. Some pieces highlight the iconic Jeep style, like the seven-bar grille. Other upgrades are about extra ability with the upgraded meaty wheels, tubular rear bumper, and tubular front bumper with brush guard. There's even upgraded shine coming from the LED headlights. So in total, this is a Wrangler that looks like it hasn't spent its life on the trail, but it has the upgrades already in place for when you feel like really getting out there.
While early Jeeps give you a minimalist setup, this modern one is comfortable enough to drive every day. The high-back bucket seats are all-day comfortable, and the whole interior looks good because the like-new top and full doors seal this one up properly when not a convertible. You get a ton of terrific features, like dual airbags, a tilt steering column, cup holders, an armrest center console, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth. These are even built with a cold-blowing factory air conditioning system. A full roll cage has been part of the Jeep spec sheet for decades, but this modern one takes advantage of a better design. It's not only a reassuring presence off-road, but also it incorporated nice features like thick padding and shoulder belts for both rows.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was a Jeep mainstay for many years. It's quite energetic in the relatively lightweight Wrangler and fuel injection gives it a terrific all-around dependability. It's a strong driver, and the five-speed manual transmission is a desirable feature to have for those who like to firmly stay in control. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case, ProComp/Skyjacker suspension upgrade, and BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires are part of that go-anywhere Jeep attitude. But features like power steering, power brakes, and front discs remind you that "go-anywhere" also just means an easy day running errands.
This Wrangler is an affordable and loaded 4x4 package that can keep you smiling on AND off the road in any weather. Call today!!!
