Sometimes it feels so good to be the villain. After all, a 1966 Shelby Cobra replica already has an intimidating look. But when you add the full blackout color theme, this sharp-looking and sharp-driving V8 classic really knows how to be the aggressor.
When black is done to this level there's a big attraction. The darkness means it's intimidating and the high gloss means it's sophisticated. And so you'll love the way the light dances off the curvaceous body as it highlights the aggressively flared fenders, large hood scoop, and all the other curves you love on an iconic Cobra. We are told the consignor completed the car in 2008, and while there's only a low 18k miles on this build, proper care means the impression is even fresher than that! And this level of respect is also seen in how the panels are well aligned and the shine of the chrome. In fact, all this darkness is contrasted nicely with nice brightwork elements like the racing bumpers, roll loop, and the growling side exhaust pipes. And you especially take note of the 15-inch wheels that help bring the darkness and chrome themes together.
The full midnight presentation continues inside with a pristine black interior. But more than ... Please ask for the full description.

Sometimes it feels so good to be the villain. After all, a 1966 Shelby Cobra replica already has an intimidating look. But when you add the full blackout color theme, this sharp-looking and sharp-driving V8 classic really knows how to be the aggressor.

But more than just looking great, they also paid attention to details. That's why you have low-back bucket seats with racing harnesses, a fire extinguisher mounted on the rear panel, and the gearstick is correctly tilted forward. The wood and chrome steering wheel is a Cobra favorite, and beyond that, there's a full set of VDO gauges keeping you fully informed.
The engine bay has the right Cobra look with the long air topper. But what you'll really love is the power this is making. It's a Ford 400 cubic-inch V8, and the specs include that it has been bored .030 over. The consignor also states It has also been fortified and enhanced with Speedpro forged pistons, a Ford Motorsports cam, 4V heads, Crane roller rockers, and Rhodes lifters. It inhales deploy with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock intake. It also has good supporting components like a Mallory ignition system and an aluminum radiator and electric fans. The long tube headers allow this to exhale with added power and authority as they feed the rumbling side pipes. You get full control over this V8 thanks to a four-speed manual transmission with Centerforce Clutch. And this whole package is ready for the track thanks to the strong boxed steel frame, tubular A-arm front end, four-link rear, and adjustable coilovers at each wheel. Plus, with four-wheel disc brakes and wide BF Goodrich T/As, stopping power is well in-hand.
The sale comes with an extensive file of build receipts and maintenance records. It all adds up to one very mean all-black machine with a very nice level of care. So if you like to have a sinister side, call today!
