SLICK STREET ROD BUILD, CHEVY 350CI CRATE, 700R4 O/D TRANS, STELLAR INTERIOR, NICE FORD!

Somewhere between the ultimate sleeper and a very unique custom lies this 1937 Ford Fordor Sedan Restomod. With a fuel-injected crate V8, a comfy A/C interior, overdrive transmission, well-done suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and slick (but understated) paint, this is a carefully crafted custom classic.

A pre-war Ford is the kind of car that will always grab attention, but this one does it a bit better. The fastback-style body is sleek without losing any of its rear-seat practicality. The body is Henry Ford steel that has been painstakingly worked on as part of the full frame-off professional restoration in 2016 (it has been driven only about 11k miles since then.) A great modern clearcoat finish has been added so that the curvaceous steel now has an awesome reflection in the sunlight. But this Washington Blue is a genuine 1937 Ford color that gives this the right understated style to really drive home a sleeper personality. So it doesn't get boisterous with wild flames down the side to give away the full custom work. Instead, you get a tasteful red and tan hand-painted pinstripe that gives this the right added sophistication to impress the judges at car shows (oh yes, it looks that ...

Instead, you get a tasteful red and tan hand-painted pinstripe that gives this the right added sophistication to impress the judges at car shows (oh yes, it looks that good.) In fact, most people will just appreciate this one because it has the bright chrome and straight body that makes it look like a terrific pre-war cruiser. But those paying attention may pick up on the more subtle details, like the upgraded headlights, single-piece windshield, dual exhaust tips, and a hint of forward-leaning stance. They all make it a better cruiser and also hint at the more modern upgrades within.

Another great reason to go with the sedan for the custom build is the set of classic suicide doors. No matter if people peek into the front or rear, they will see a tastefully modified machine. It's part of a full custom upholstery creation. So while you have terrific modern bucket seats and a well-contoured rear bench, they fit into the classic nicely. In fact, the same saddle brown material and pattern is used for the seats, door panels, and even in the trunk for a very uniform style. Power windows, power locks, keyless entry, plush carpeting, cup holders, an AM/FM/stereo, and cold-blowing air conditioning are all part of the well-integrated package that makes this classic a comfortable cruiser to invite everyone along. Just like the exterior, they were even thoughtful with the details, including the pinstriping on the dash to match the exterior and the former windshield crank now hides a handy 12-volt outlet. And more than just comfy, this custom build was made for driving. Your seat power adjusts to the ideal driving position, the grippy banjo-style steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column, and beyond that is a great set of Speedhut gauges.

Even the engine bay tries to be a bit incognito. The classic battery topper, olive block paint, black painted components, and simulated oil bath air grabber do a nice job of looking like a vintage engine bay. But we also know that's no flathead V8. This is a far more modern upgrade with a 350 cubic-inch crate V8. It even has nice upgrades like the Edelbrock Performer intake and Cal Custom aluminum valve covers. And this classic-style Ford now has a modern Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system! It's a powerful motor that's part of a nice all-around driver. The suspension has been upgraded with a Chassis Engineering Mustang II front end, Chassis Engineering rear springs/mounts, and sway bars front and rear. There['s also power steering, modern sport tires, and four-wheel power disc brakes. And we love how the cruise control and four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive make this 1937 Ford ready for the highway.

The sale comes complete with build receipts, restoration photos, a car cover, and a front bra to protect this on long trips. This is the ideal mix of vintage style with all the right power and comfort upgrades. It's a beautiful and unique custom, so it won't stay available for long. Call today!!!
