This 1947 Chevrolet 3100 5-window truck has been restored and thoughtfully customized to create one awesome, retro-cool machine. Finished handsomely in jet-black paint, some of the exterior features include shaved door handles, relocated fuel tank and filler, chrome front grill and bumper, super-cool piston and rod taillights and red steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and polished trim rings wrapped with new B.F. Goodrich Silvertown wide whitewall radial tires. The bed has beautiful custom-made planks crafted from Peduke hardwood that have been stained and finished with ten coats of varnish that give it a deep mirror-gloss finish with polished stainless dividers.
Attention to detail is evident in the contrasting red interior that features a comfortable custom bench seat with fold-down armrest, cold air conditioning, polished Flaming River tilt steering column topped with a custom polished aluminum wheel with red rim, hidden JVC stereo with USB port, under-dash gauge panel, Stewart & Warner custom-fit tachometer and Lokar shifter with cool skull shift knob.

The engine bay is detailed with upgrades that include an Edelbrock aluminum high rise intake manifold topped with a Holley carburetor, retro finned aluminum valve covers with matching air cleaner, aluminum radiator with electric fan, power steering, chrome alternator and a great sounding dual exhaust system with Turbo mufflers. Stopping power is excellent thanks to a power four-wheel brake system. The truck rides and handles fantastically with power rack and pinon steering, tubular A-arms up front and a 4-link with coil-overs in the rear with 12-bolt rear end. Documenting some of the work done on this classic is a stack of receipts that totals nearly $18,000.
