FRESH BUILD, 427 V8, 450HP, 4SPD AUTO, PWR STEER/BRAKES, VERY CLEAN, DRIVES GR8!

Powerful pony cars with bold looks are always in style. But when a fire-breathing 450 hp V8 and an award-winning shine are wrapped around a classic 1970 droptop body, then you see this 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 351 Tribute is a true heart-stopper.

There were yellows on the factory palette in 1970, but none were as vivid as this Screaming Yellow paint. It was part of this car's full restoration that was completed in 2016, and $10k was invested in the paint alone. There's a metallic element in the yellow, and nine coats of clear on top. It creates such a great shine that they took this to SEMA in 2017, and it brought home a Mothers shine award. With less than 1,100 miles on this whole build, you know it still retains an award-worthy finish. More than just the bright paint, this one has a terrific dark side with the full Boss stripe package that was cleared over with the rest of the car (so sunlight moves evenly across this sunshine-friendly droptop.) You even get added aggression with the hood scoop, rear spoiler, and 16-inch Mag wheels with pony center caps.

All the black accents on the outside make this one look great with the black convertible roof in place. But with the touch of a ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

But with the touch of a button, it powers down to reveal an even more impressive black interior. The seats, door panels, carpeting, and dash have had any decades of use erased, and so this is clean and comfortable. Even the trunk is nicely finished. You're also going to get some terrific upgrades. They have all been tastefully added, like the retro-style AM/FM radio that has a digital tuner and an aux input for your iPod. The wood and chrome sports steering wheel doesn't look out of place thanks to the Mustang pony center cap, and beyond that, the original gauge panel now is full of crisp Dakota Digital readouts.

While this one has 351 callouts on the side, that's a bit of a fib. This is a newer Ford Performance crate motor, and while they use the 351 block, they also can now deliver it from the factory with a monstrous 427 displacement. This one also includes Ford aluminum X-heads and topped with a four-barrel carburetor. It's rated at 450 horsepower, and the growl it makes from the dual exhaust lets everyone know it can eat the big blocks for lunch. As you look at everything to the pulleys to the aluminum radiator w/electric fan, you see that this big power machine has all the right supporting components. The motor is mated to a 4R70W four-speed automatic transmission, which is great for overdrive cruising and also has a stout construction to be used in plenty of Ford's big V8 machines. The same versatility goes for the Detroit Truetrac limited-slip rear end. Plus, with electronic power steering, sway bars front & rear, and four-wheel disc brakes, this droptop really knows how to own the streets.

The sale comes complete with restoration photos, owner's manual, and build receipts. It all proves that this is the powerful and beautiful classic Mustang convertible you want to take home right now. Make the call today!
