At first glance, yes, it's an awesome and highly desirable body style with lustrous, miles-deep burgundy paint job. Then you dig a little deeper and see all the little tricks and upgrades that went into the comprehensive build, including a top that comes off, a sporty black interior, and a performance-built 347 Stroker V8 engine with a whole lot of pop. The body is fiberglass from legendary Factory Five Racing, and that's not at all a demerit on high-quality rods like this. Not only are the materials incredibly thick, durable and reinforced with extra supports, but the resulting custom look of the car could almost never be matched by steel, yet the spirit and feel is still all high-quality Ford performance. The build incorporates suicide doors, a longer body, and a chopped top, so this car has a cool rake to it that matches what rodders have been doing since the '40s. Deleted fenders and bumpers streamline the design, while the details like the dual mirrors, bright door handles, side exhaust ports, and LED taillights punctuate the curb appeal and perfectly contrast the finish. And speaking of that paint and body, the high-end finish was done to a borderline show-quality standard (and honestly, most people would call it full-blown show-quality as there are no real imperfections to report), and with only 1614 miles on the build, it still looks new. We absolutely love that Burgundy Maroon Metallic finish – it's lustrous, dripping with clarity, and we can all but guarantee that the glow and shine of the miles-deep color is about as nice as you'll ever see on a hotrod at this price point. Up front, there's a beautiful chrome Vee'd grille along with old-school King Bee style headlights at the flanks, so it has a very traditional look despite all the custom work that went into the build. My goodness, this '33 Ford is perfectly executed.

Outfitted in sporty black vinyl, the interior is comfortable and inviting, and brings a high-end modern level of fit and finish to this streetrod that we don't often come across. Bucket seats make the most of the coupe's interior space, leaving it comfortable even for taller drivers, and the sculpted contours are good for longer road trips as well. Matching upholstery was used on the custom door panels, dash insert, and back of the cab, while the headliner is covered in luxurious black suede that complements the plush, black carpets on the floors. All of the components inside are new new, and before anything was installed the entire cabin was insulated with an insulation kit that keeps outside noise and temperatures at bay. A full array of digital/analog AutoMeter gauges were installed in the center of the dash to keep an eye on the powerful motor under the hood, and the control screen for the Holley Sniper EFI system is just beyond that killer, leather-wrapped chrome steering wheel. Power windows are included, as are racing pedals and seatbelts, and the Hurst cue-ball topped chrome shifter that juts out from the floorboard is easily the coolest part of the cabin, managing the Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and practically taunting the driver to go out and hammer some gears. The entire cabin has a very AC Cobra look and feel to it, which makes since because Factory Five makes some of the best Cobra Replicas on the market. The trunk opens with the flick of a switch, revealing a fully upholstered cargo bay, and when the top comes off, this baby become a full open-air cruiser.

Delivering on the car's looks is a performance-built 347 Stroker V8 motor that's been built for battle with plenty of horsepower on tap. Enhanced with Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, the power small block comes topped with a Holley Sniper fuel-injection system and an performance aluminum intake manifold, and it fires up with ease thanks to a full MSD ignition system and serpentine belt system, it pulls big power up and down the throttle. With plenty of dress-up gear inside the engine bay, it's got the right hot rod look without affecting functionality, and because it's barely been driven it remains bright and clean. Wiring and plumbing is thoughtfully done, and block-hugging BKK ceramic-coated headers dump into a beautifully fabricated exhaust system with throaty chambered mufflers that sounds fantastic. It rides on a full blown custom performance suspension and bespoke frame, with highlights like an independent front end with adjustable coilovers all-around, 4-wheel disc brakes, and rack-and-pinion steering, and a heavy-duty Drake 8.8-in rear end out back. The undercarriage is really a thing of engineering beauty, and because everything is brand new underneath, it's in show-ready condition. Spectacular chrome wheels and low-profile Sumitomo performance tires are fitted, set in a classic big-and-little hotrod stance with 275/40/17s up front and 315/35/17s in the rear.

This is an extremely well-built and thoughtfully crafted Ford that captures the clean look of traditional hot rods and adds big doses of performance and comfort.
