NICE CHEVY! 350 V8, 700R4 AUTO, A/C, PS/B W/ FRT DISC, SHARP PAINT, LOWERING KIT

This 1985 Chevrolet C10 Silverado pickup is the direct result of someone taking a 'Square Body' pickup and turning it up to 11. With a killer slammed stance, a strong running, freshly built 350 V8 motor mated to an overdrive automatic, and a comfortable A/C interior, this Frost White stunner has a unique look that totally works and turns heads everywhere it goes. Take a closer look, because this dropped Chevy is a very cool, 'just built' vintage truck that won't last long.

The builders of this truck threw all caution and subtlety into the wind during the restoration, electing a bright color and a slammed stance to go along with all that pop under the hood. With that Frost White finish, it's got a clean look that seems a lot more customized than it actually is, and because the paint job was done right when it was completed, it holds up well under scrutiny. It's a strong driver-quality hauler through-and-through, with a killer overall presentation that overlooks its minor imperfections, and the depth of the white color underneath that thick clearcoat is very impressive. Bottom-line, this truck was built to be driven and enjoyed, but the restorers certainly made it worthy of the local car ... Please ask for the full description.

Bottom-line, this truck was built to be driven and enjoyed, but the restorers certainly made it worthy of the local car show scene, and it will gather a crown pretty much anywhere it goes. Despite the low, wide look, this C10 is mostly composed of stock bodywork, although the chin spoilers and stock grille up front (complete with paint-matched center strip), along with the trimmed-out tailgate out back do a great job to bookend this gorgeous truck, almost making it look slightly custom. All the factory Silverado trim is still in place, the door handles haven't been shaved, the top's not chopped, and the mirrors are still at the flanks, resulting in a clean near-factory look that makes the lowered stance and dialed-in paint job look even more impressive. Chrome bumpers fore and aft really pop against the white paint and one look inside the laser-straight, paint-matched bed that's protected with a vinyl floor cover proves that this truck never really had to work in its life. And of course, those chrome wheels aren't stock, but they're not over-the-top either and really enhance the overall look tucked-up under the wheel wells.

The interior was nicely upgraded at the time of the build yet still manages to still keep a stock-style vibe, with a supremely comfortable black vinyl bench seat and drop-in armrest/center console piece in the center. The seat has been re-filled with new cushions that look and feel great, and the cover is about as fresh and clean as you'll see, resulting in an all-day comfortable seating area that puts long-range travel squarely on the menu. There's a taut carpeted headliner above, matching plush black carpets are protected by vinyl floormats below, Silverado-spec factory door panels that include controls the power windows and locks are at the flanks, and the beautifully stitched, brand-new black dash pad is completely free of imperfections. The factory gauges in the shiny bezel provide an accurate reading of the engine's vitals, and there's a stock steering wheel atop a 'comfort-tilt' column at the head of the cockpit. Other options include an upgraded Pioneer AM/FM/CD/AUX head unit in the center of the dash that manages upgraded speakers built into custom kick panels, intermittent wipers, electronic speed control, seatbelts, tinted glass, a sliding rear window, and factory HVAC system that's been updated with new R134a refrigerant, a new heater core, and modern hardware under the hood. As you can see, this Silverado came loaded from the factory, and the builders took things up a notch higher. Now this restored beauty is clean, tight, and ready to use.

Power comes from a rugged 350 V8 motor, which have been a mainstay in Chevy build's for quite a while. Neatly rebuilt to retain OEM-style functionality, everything looks like it was born in there, despite the fact that the entire drivetrain has nothing short of break-in miles on it (in fact, the engine is still filled with break-in oil with only 250 miles clocked since the build, so it will need to be changed with regular oil once it hits 1K). The engine bay is detailed like the factory would've done (aside from the California emissions smog stuff that was rightly removed), right down to the black snorkeled air cleaner and matching valve covers. It starts quickly and runs beautifully and can be serviced at any Chevy dealer thanks to the common, OEM parts, and a giant aluminum radiator was installed up front to help keep the whole show nice and cool. A 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission was also rebuilt, and with power steering and power front disc brakes, it's a real pleasure to drive in almost any condition. Thanks to the overdrive transmission, this is a nice highway cruiser that gets surprisingly good gas mileage for a full-sized pickup. Underneath, the chassis is very well preserved, and the suspension has been augmented with new ball joints and a Bell Tech lowering kit and various performance suspension parts that help set the stance and ensure this Silverado drives like a dream. An X-pipe Flowmaster dual exhaust with throaty mufflers gives this truck a fantastic soundtrack, but it's not so obnoxious you'll have to hide from the HOA every time you pull out from the garage. Flashy 18-inch US Mags chrome wheels wrapped in 235/55/18 front and 255/55/18 rear blackwall radials finish off the look perfectly.

An original California Silverado that was already a killer ride when it was new, restored and upgraded to an even higher level that's really put it over the top. That's why we absolutely love this Square Body Chevy. Call today!
