Sleek paint, a sporty stance, an A/C interior, and upgraded small block power headline an overall thoughtfully built 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. That's what makes this personal coupe attractive well beyond its obtainable price.
Gobi Beige is the factory-correct color. While it looks like the ideal 1970s color, this was exclusive to this year for Chevys. So while it's likely that many of the others have turned into red and black cars by now, we especially like that the investment on this one was about a quality respray to keep this rare distinction. And the fundamentals are looking good with largely clean glass, good-looking trim, and attractively bright wraparound chrome bumpers. So the total package properly represents the premium style of a Monte Carlo. And those 20-inch Ridler wheels are a true standout upgrade that gives this a stance to instantly announce there is more here than just vintage appeal.
The correct saddle tan interior looks great against the beige paint for a factory-correct and true '70s style machine.
It looks especially nice in areas you can see newer investments like the upholstery, carpeting, and headliner. And we always like seeing a nice presentation of the classic Monte Carlo's distinct walnut wood-like dash trim. There's plenty of room for family and friends, and this one has well-integrated upgrades to keep them all happy. They include an AM/FM/CD stereo, a subwoofer speaker system, and the cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. And you have the right driver feeling with front bucket seats, a center console in-between, Chevy's horseshoe shifter, a round gauge package, and the grippy classic dual-spoke steering wheel.
The engine bay has a fresher Goodwrench 350 cubic-inch crate motor. This V8 has been upgraded further with Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, black Chevrolet valve covers, and an HEI ignition. And the long tube headers feed a sweet-sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. There are other nice upgrades like BMR springs and tubular rear control arms for a confident feeling on the road. Plus, a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern sport tires make this an easy and solid cruiser.
The sale comes complete with a car cover, the owner's manual, the original warranty card, and maintenance records. This Monte Carlo will impress you with the way it looks and the way it has the power and comfort to basically drive every day. That makes for an awesome cruising classic. Call today!!!
