The 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 is already a legend on its own, and this example delivers correctness, That means the correct style, correct Shelby specific features, and the correct attitude that's going to make you want to get in and go for a drive. So take a closer look at the real-deal snake-bitten fastback that even has Carroll Shelby's signature inside.
The original generation Shelby GT350 is one of the most sought-after Mustangs around because it was never bashful about its sense of speedy style. And that only got more aggressive on the later cars, like this '67. The custom fiberglass hood, functional side scoops, and integrated deck lid spoiler - it all makes an impressive statement. The fastback is finished in 1967-correct Acapulco Blue. It was an update later in life, and so it has the right look of aged-in style that will make many people think you have a survivor blue coupe. And the color looks great against the white racing stripes and rocker triple stripes. And the full correct Shelby package is complete with the hood locks, grille lights, snake-bitten badges (including on the gas cap,) and iconic Shelby 10-spoke alloy wheels.

The interior has a terrific style that is clean, correct, and performance-oriented. The dash, headliner, carpeting, and upholstery are all looking great, and the deep black is ideal for a car that likes to get down to speedy business. The atmosphere is very vintage everywhere from the pattern of the deluxe seating to the AM radio that's there for display. But your favorite pieces are all about a performance driver. A folding rear seat, overhead roll bar, and shoulder harnesses are all Shelby must-haves. You'll put your left and on the wood-rimmed steering wheel, and your right one the Hurst shifter. It will give you that proper tingle of performance even before you see the large speedo and tach do their dance. This is just one of 1,175 of 1967 GT350 fastbacks ever made, and if you ever happen to momentarily forget its provenance, Carroll Shelby's signature is on the sun visor to always remind you!
Under the hood is a terrific-looking power package. This is an era-correct correct HiPo 289 cubic-inch V8. It's a well-done replacement motor. We like the current motor because it was built correctly for Shelby duty, and that also means it's built for action. This includes a roller cam, Roush 351 heads, and topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor. The dual exhaust has a set of Flowmasters to give it a terrific tune. And you're in complete control of the power and high-octane soundtrack thanks to the toploader four-speed manual transmission. Plus, there's correctly lowered A-arms, Monte Carlo stabilizer bar, front disc brakes, and wide BF Goodrich tires make this snake-bitten Mustang great to drive.
An important car like this needs the right paperwork to back it up. That's why the sale comes with the Marti Report, owner's manual, service manuals, maintenance records, and previous owner histories - including a handwritten long from the 1980s.
