The Cyclone was made to be premium and powerful, and so we like the first impression the paint makes. The black has a solid glossy style that is both upper-class and intimidating. They even accessorized the paint nicely with details like the dark tinted windows to go with the black and the front brake calipers that go with the pinstripe. They took the Ford Fairlane's stacked headlight style and gave it a more refined Mercury look with light housings that rose above the fenders and grille lines that warped around the bezels. There are two air scoops on the hood and twin carbs under the hood. The dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors are part of a performance package that includes an Offenhauser intake, classic Edelbrock finned valve covers, and Hooker headers feeding the dual exhaust. And at the center is the mighty Ford/Mercury 390 cubic-inch V8. It's a well-built power package that also includes supporting components like a newer Cold Case aluminum radiator, electric fans, and a billet distributor. There's a set of exhaust cutouts for when you feel like really letting this mighty V8 roar. But there's also a more cruiser-like nature you can enjoy. The rear end was recently upgraded to a more all-around friendly 3.00 ratio. You also have a C6 three-speed automatic transmission, wide BF Goodrich T/As, and Wilwood front disc brakes.
