Under the hood is the correct 4.2-liter inline-six. Jeep people know this powerplant was derived from the tough-as-nails AMC line of motors, and so you get durability and economy. You'll even spot some good features, like an Optima red top battery and a newer radiator. Plus, with fuel-injection and the control of the five-speed manual transmission, this is always a lively machine. Around town, you'll appreciate the power steering, power brakes, and front discs.
