This 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Tribute Convertible has a cool style, great features, and solid V8 power. So it makes for a great drop-top classic when the full package is also so affordable.
This wasn't born a black car, but when you want a bit of mean 442 style, black is the best place to start. That means the paint was an upgrade later in life. There is room for investment/improvement in the finish, but it's complete and has a nice gloss on day one. And more than just the right color, the Cutlass had some of the best design lines of the day, and the good panels to really showcase it well. Form-fitting chrome bumpers and full-length pinstriping contribute to this refined style. Plus, the large dual exhaust tips, 442 badging, and Super Stock wheels are all part of a proper muscle car style.
While the black roof has a nice crisp look, a car like this was meant to be open to the world. So when you take the top down, it's great to see a sophisticated gold interior against the black. Like the exterior, you can find some areas you may want to invest in for improvement. But this also impresses in the details, like the walnut-like trim and working courtesy lights. There are provisions ... Please ask for the full description.

And more than just the right color, the Cutlass had some of the best design lines of the day, and the good panels to really showcase it well. There are provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing before blowing cold,) and you'll like the AM/FM/CD stereo for upgraded driving music. This one was built to be a cruiser that can seat up to six total, but the real focus is on the driver. That's why you have a fold-down armrest, a four-spoke sports steering wheel, and power steering. Plus, power windows and the power convertible top are two great luxury features that work together to take down the roof while you stay in the driver's seat.
Under the hood is a 403 cubic-inch V8. This is a great Olds motor that utilizes a big block kind of displacement in a small block kind of weight. This one has the look of good care and maintenance, right down to fundamentals like the wire and hoses. It inhales deeply with a Rochester four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a nice tune from the dual exhaust. The TH400 is a strong three-speed automatic transmission, and it feeds a stout 12-bolt rear end. There's even a rear sway bar, too. So it's set up to handle the motor's power and even more upgrades.
This is the 442 tribute that has the style, features, and price you want. So don't let it slip away. Call today!!!
