Take some time to look over one of the coolest bugs around. This 1972 Volkswagen Beetle has a unique clutch-less AutoStick transmission. Plus, it has a great color combo inside and out. But even a standout like this is still everyday affordable.
We all love the Beetle because these are classic cars with a sturdy German-engineered base. It provides for a strong foundation to build an individual spirit. This one seems to go for a bright appearance that starts with a radiant red. It's an upgrade later in life, it has the smooth feel and smooth shine that makes this classic look memorable. There are some signs of enjoyment, but that's actually part of this car's charm. We're told it was owned for quite some time by an older lady who liked to take it to car shows (we even have a box of trophies that go with the sale.) And this one has a touch of added flair where factory pieces like the chrome bumpers, hubcaps, and full-length trim are supplemented by additional brightwork on the wheels, wheel wells, around the handles, and on the rear air inlets.
The creamy white interior gives this a touch of an upper-class look. The high-back bucket seats that came on the later models are ... Please ask for the full description.

The high-back bucket seats that came on the later models are particularly comfortable for all-day cruising. Plus, there are good upgrades like the center console, AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette, and upgraded speakers. This Beetle might look like it's a stick shift, but if you count the pedals, you don't have to be intimidated. VW's optional AutoStick does all the clutch work, and so all you do is row the gears with zero worries about stalling.
Under the rear hatch is the correct air-cooled flat-four. More of the proof that it was cherished by the old lady is in the way this one fires up and runs so eagerly. Volkswagens sometimes were off-putting to people who didn't know how to drive manual shifts. So their solution was adapting the Autostick transmission that has a vacuum-operated clutch. There's no third pedal, but you still get the control of rowing through the three forward gears to get the most out of the VW's hardy motor. And since the 1600cc was the largest VW displacement from the series, it feels a bit nippy in the lightweight coupe. The experience behind the wheel is all smiles, and you'll get plenty of nostalgic looks as you cruise around in this shining bug.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a great-looking VW with features that will always attract attention. So when you want an easy, affordable, and standout classic, this Beetle is the one. Call today!!!
