This 1969 Dodge Charger is a true legendary muscle car. And so this one holds up the tradition to the fullest with a performance-built fuel-injected 496 cubic-inch V8. While this is powerful, everything from the shine of the paint to the extra details inside tell you there was a solid investment to make this an all-around hot hardtop.
While the General Lee has cemented the '69 Charger as a true icon, this one goes in a very different direction. It's a more refined presentation thanks to a shade close to the factory's Bright Turquoise Poly. And this premium appearance is a great complement to the Charger's thoughtful elements like Coke-bottle curves, form-hugging bumpers, and flying buttresses. And a taut-fitting black vinyl roof is pure vintage upper-class. Of course, the hidden headlights, scalloped hood with matching marks in the doors, mag-style road wheels, and integrated rear spoiler, remind us that this hardtop can never totally hide its aggression.
The roof provides a nice preview of the black interior. While this is intermediate-sized for 1969, today that means plenty of room for family and friends. So you'll be glad to see the interior was refreshed for a quality ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
So you'll be glad to see the interior was refreshed for a quality presentation. You even have upgrades to keep them all happy like a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner w/Bluetooth and provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow ideally cold again.) But what you'll love best is how much this is a driver's car. It has been subtly upgraded where the front seats keep a correct-style pattern, but they are now more modern buckets with better bolstering and adjustable headrests. And the classic Rallye-style dash now has crisp/modern readouts, including a large speedo and tach.
The engine bay has the look of professional-grade performance. It starts with Mopar's mighty 383 V8, and now it has been bored and stroked to a whopping 496 cubic inches per the current owner. We're told it's fully built for power with Diamond Racing flat-top forged pistons, an Eagle crankshaft, Eagle ESP H-beam connecting rods, 440 Source's Stealth heads, and 440 Source roller rockers, an Edelbrock intake, and Hedman headers. And it's topped off with a FiTech electronic fuel injection system for the best in power and consistency. It's even supported by the right components, including an MSD Billet distributor and a large aluminum radiator. The A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission is an updated unit, and it feeds a 3.55 limited-slip rear end. And while this has beastly power, it's easy to tame thanks to power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide BF Goodrich T/As.
There has been a ton of investments to make this a serious and powerful Mopar. And classic fans will be happy to know that the numbers-matching transmission case can also be made available. This Charger is the muscle machine you've been searching for. So don't let your Mopar dreams slip away, call today!
