GREAT RUNNING FJ! 4.2L INLINE 6, 4 SPD MANUAL, POWER FRONT DISC, READY FOR FUN!

A go-anywhere 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser finished in a bold red is what classic off-road dreams are made of. And as you take real time to go over this classic 4x4, you're also going to see a solid investment where over $20k was spent within the last few years making sure the engineering on this was ready for action. Of course, if you just want to show off a fun FJ around town, this will certainly accommodate, too.

The Land Cruiser basically wrote the book on dominating the globe. It's become an icon of robustness, and so there's no reason to paint it a bashful color. This bold red has a good gloss to get it noticed, but you'll also appreciate how nothing in the fit and finish gets this accused of being a trailer queen. This shows its added robustness right up front with a steel bumper that houses a protected mounting place for a winch and added spotlights. And speaking of extra lights, this now has LED headlights to help turn night into day. Plus, the dark bumpers and headlight pods go well with the American Racing wheels, rear fender flares, rear tow hitch bumper, and a full-size spare to give a well-coordinated darkness against the red. It all makes for a package that lives at ... Please ask for the full description.

Plus, the dark bumpers and headlight pods go well with the American Racing wheels, rear fender flares, rear tow hitch bumper, and a full-size spare to give a well-coordinated darkness against the red. It all makes for a package that lives at the intersection of attractive and versatile.

Not everyone remembers that the FJ40 can be open to the world, and so we like how this has the bikini top and low rear hatch both done in black to coordinate with the full color package. The sale also comes with the full rear barn doors in case you decide you need to return the hardtop style. But we like the way this one is already set up for an outdoor lifestyle. This includes clean vinyl seating, robust rubber floor covers, and a proper roll bar. It's also handy to have the addition of a locking center console. The driver gets the classic/grippy steering wheel, clear factory gauges, and a handy tach.

The engine bay is where you see the most worthwhile investment. We have a receipt list documenting over $20k invested between 2021 and earlier this year making sure that this should help solidify the Land Cruiser's reputation as one of the most robust 4x4s ever. It starts with a complete overhaul to the 4.2-liter inline-six. Everything that needed to be rebuilt or replaced was done - from the heater core to the Weber carburetor. It was to make sure this fires up and runs with an eager feeling of quality. The 4x4 transfer case and 3rd member were rebuilt, too, to keep this a proper off-roader. Plus, the four-speed manual transmission, power brakes, and front discs make this one nice to even take to cars & coffee on an easy Sunday morning.

This FJ40 Land Cruiser has been given the right investment for those who want to truly enjoy the classic 4x4 lifestyle to the fullest. Call today!!!
