This is a survivor-style example of when American cars were long and sleek, and the stylists ruled the road. So look over this 1959 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 with its wide style, V8 power, and little details - like the working AM radio - and you'll realize how rare and distinct an opportunity this is.
With only a two-year production run, this is one of the rarest full-size Oldsmobiles around. The era of extra-wide cars is showcased on two sets of headlights with so much space in-between that you can fit the bullet-nosed marker light in there with ease. And there's even room to fully spell out the car's extra-tall 10-letter name on the grille. And we love the dual rocket hood ornaments on each fender. The designers created a style line coming off of them that looks like a vapor trail as it spreads down the body and forms the tailfin. This was an exclusive feature to 1959, and it really makes this look like a special vintage machine. And speaking of classic, the correct Aqua Mist Poly paint is suspected to be original to the car. While this has not yet been confirmed, everyone will certainly think that with its well-earned patina. But more than just survivor paint, you'll love how ... Please ask for the full description.

But more than just survivor paint, you'll love how everything is complete from the bumpers to the badging. And even the details are complete, including the wheel covers and the fender skirts. And the newer whitewalls look great against the white roof for a great finishing touch of coordinating style.
The interior was refreshed later in life, but it has still worn in enough to look good while still going well with the car's full package. As a full-sized sedan, this is just as ready as ever to take family and friends along for the ride. But the driver is the one who gets to enjoy this Olds the most. The wraparound windshield and stylized dual-spoke steering wheel give you a commanding view of the whole road. It's the kind of thoughtful design that comes from an era when artists were working on interiors. And all of the components are in place. So it's impressive to see details working like the dome light and AM radio.
A big sedan needs a big motor, and that's why it carries a correct Oldsmobile Rocket V8. This is believed to be the 371 cubic-inch version, and we bet people will marvel at everything from the golden block paint to the correct decals in the engine bay. Thanks to their durable construction, Oldsmobile engines of this vintage are known for their reliability and longevity. Plus, good care means the motor still fires up quickly and with a precision that's an instant reminder of Oldsmobile's quality reputation. And the Hydramatic transmission is a great classic way to have an easy cruiser.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, service manual, and extra literature. This was a very unique year to own an Olds. So if you don't act quickly, you might never see a well-kept survivor-style one this great again. Call today!!!
