This 1972 GMC Jimmy 4x4 represents a rare vintage done right. With proper V8 power, a distinctive paint, 4x4 prowess, and an A/C interior all wrapped around the full convertible appeal. It makes for the best of everything in one cool vintage package.
For many full-size 4x4 fans, this Jimmy is the one. The first-gen gave you a full convertible top, and the GMC version was rarer than the Chevy. So it gives this one an instant respect and demand even before you check out the total vintage package. The factory-correct Medium Bronze paint was given a quality respray. It has a nice metallic element that loves to pop in the sunlight, and the color-matched wheels make for a thoughtful touch. The full length rocker trim shows off the straightness of the sheetmetal and provides a clear dividing line for the white lower section. Plus, that white goes well with the tailgate and hardtop for a two-tone kind of style.
While we like the look of the white hardtop, you really want to take it off to show the rare and desirable full open air experience. It has a very stock style, but you can also tell there has been a solid investment in upholstery, door panels, gauges, and dash to keep this all ... Please ask for the full description.

It has a very stock style, but you can also tell there has been a solid investment in upholstery, door panels, gauges, and dash to keep this all looking good. These had plenty of appeal when new with features like front bucket seats, a center console, and plenty of room for adults and their gear. And this one turns the desirability way up with well-integrated upgrades like a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner and a Vintage Air air conditioning system.
Under the hood is the a stout small block V8. This 350 cubic-inch motor is believed to have been rebuilt later in life, and it has the tidy look of a solid investment. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, it fires up readily and makes proper V8 power. Plus, headers add extra muscle and give the right rumble for the dual exhaust. A stout V8 like this is great in a go-anywhere 4x4 - especially with the two-speed transfer case, tall stance, and BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As. But more than just an off-roader, this is also an easy cruiser thanks to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with front discs.
This Jimmy offers sharp looks, GMC rarity, full convertible appeal, and a strong-running total package. So don't miss this all-around stunner. Call now!
