This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible Restomod is a custom build from every angle. So while you'll appreciate classic two-tone and iconic lines, it's all the integrated upgrades that make it irresistible. The fully adjustable air ride suspension, supple leather interior, custom light kit, and supercharged V8 power are just a few highlights of an award-worthy total build.
The car strikes a balance between iconic classic and all-out hot rod - all in the first glance. The Crocus Yellow and Laurel Green are a 1956-correct two-tone combo. The green now has a metallic element to radiate brighter in the sunshine, which is what you want on a convertible. And the yellow highlights how awesome the '56 Bel Air's exclusive trim was with its spear boldly piercing into the full length of the car. Bright chrome bumpers, good panels, complete badging, the gas filler hidden behind the taillight complete the right vintage style.
But more than just traditional pieces, this one has a style all its own. You can see it in the modern headlights and upgraded folding roof. Plus, the custom Savini wheels have an aggressive stance with the larger and wider rear set, but it all tucks in nicely thanks to the adjustable air ride suspension. It's worth understanding how a build like this even comes up for grabs. After all, when you spare no expense on a professional-level supercharged restomod, you tend to keep it for life. Unfortunately, the creator passed away before the final details were completed. So while this looks absolutely awesome, you will likely find a few details you may want to finish. The advantage of that is you know this is the kind of build that's going to get a ton of attention and awards, but it hasn't been given its real public unveiling yet. So you basically skip decades of sweating the details it would take to fully build a restomod like this.
The award-worthy custom presentation continues when you open the door. It starts with the seats. Since people can get a great look inside any time you take down the roof, the seats were given a terrific custom stitch design and finished in supple leather. Not only does the front get individual buckets, but thanks to the full-length center console, so does the rear, too. The carpeting, console, door panels, and fully furnished trunk all are done with a uniform look and quality to remain impressive. This also has all the best features, like an AM/FM/iPod touchscreen infotainment unit, a full integrated stereo speaker system, a power convertible top, power locks, a tilt steering column, and digital gauges. There are also provisions for air conditioning and power windows, and they will just need servicing to be completed. And you'll really love the showpiece of the full green LED interior lighting package. We bet you can just imagine parking this one at a cruiser-in on a summer night where the top is down and everyone can see the green glowing inside against the green tones of the exterior.
The upgrades get even more obvious when you open the hood. After all, the Tri-Five Chevys were known for providing legendary V8 power, but this heart is far younger. It's a fuel-injected LS2 motor, and yes, that's a supercharger on top! You'll spot nice details, like the K&N air intake, Optima red top battery, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator with electric fan. And the Hedman headers let the mighty V8 exhale with added power and authority into the X-pipe dual exhaust and Borla mufflers. The motor is mated to a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission that's great for stout performance and all-day overdrive highway cruising. As you look underneath, you'll spot suspension upgrades, like the tubular front A-arm front end and a four-link rear with a diagonal link. Add in power steering, modern ZR-rated tires, and Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes, and this is a great all-around cruiser.
This is the awesome-driving and award-worthy classic that was a labor of love to build. These kinds of cars rarely become available, so don't miss your opportunity. Call today!!!
