This 1928 Ford Model A street machine is out to command your attention in its rumbling V8 and deep black appearance. But when you look at all the alluring details - including a loaded and leather-lined A/C interior - you soon realize that the allure here is far more than just the bold first impression.
There's no question that this steel-body Ford has an instant presence. There was a lot invested in the restoration, and likely only about 7k miles have been put on it since then. So the slick paintwork has a fresh and commanding luster from a quality modern application. There are even complementing classic details, like the waterfall grille and cloth top both finished in black. So the appearance is sinister and thoughtful all in the same glance. This was a truly detailed build with terrific hot rod elements, like the shortened '32 front end and the inches expertly chopped out of the roof height. Those extra meaty rear tires give this an aggressive forward-leaning stance, but the custom fenders still do a nice job of containing all that rubber. Description
The whole package is a nice mix of vintage and modern, right down to the little things, like the LED lights integrated into the bumpers and artful pinstriping on the hood and rear.
The red interior is fanatically bold against the dark black interior. The whole package feels premium - from the plush carpeting to the supple leather on the seats. Plus, the side panels are another reminder of how detailed the build is with a cool tuck and roll look and a wave pattern that runs through the door. The cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, and Kenwood AM/FM/CD/XM stereo with USB input are there to keep everyone happy. But this is the kind of build where the driver is always king. You have front bucket seats with great bolstering. The leather-wrapped Lecarra sports steering wheel feels great in your hands, and it's mounted on a tilt column. It gives you a clear view of the dash full of VDO gauges. And the backup camera is a particularly nice added touch.
All the bright components shining in the very dark engine bay means you'll love lifting the hood at car shows. More than just look great, this is a 350 cubic-inch crate motor upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, performance intake, and shorty headers feeding the Pypes dual exhaust. The undercarriage photos are another reminder of how fresh the build is, and they also show the cool four-link with leaf springs front and rear. And the smooth-shifting TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and power brakes w/front discs make this a great all-around cruiser, too.
The sale even comes complete with the little extras, like a car cover and a 1928 license plate. This is a true classic steel body car with the right thoughtful hot rod and convenience upgrades you crave. So hurry up and grab this deal. Call now!
