This 1937 Chevrolet Master Deluxe is one of those custom coupes where you know they took extra time and thought in the details. There's a sleek all-steel body. The interior has leather-lined A/C comfort. And there's a V8 paired with an upgraded suspension and an overdrive transmission to make for quite a versatile driver.
The Laser Red paint makes a nice first impression. It's a modern PPG Tri-Coat color that's a great choice for a car that wants to radiate quality. In fact, while we're told the frame-off restoration happened around 2005, the clean and well-respected style means it makes much younger builds jealous. Even the undercarriage carries a very clean and vibrant style. So it knows how to show off its classic all-steel body with class. The classic brightwork is still a standout in places such as the grille and bumpers. But the polish of the large dual exhaust tips and the upgraded 15-inch wheels with a wider rear set draw more attention to the performance attitude.
There are more of the right custom street machine details like the sport mirrors, clear headlights, blue dot tail lights, and tinted windows. It's such a detailed build that there is even subtle red pinstriping on places like the headlights and trunk just to give those who get up close an extra special treat.
There was plenty invested inside to give this businessman's coupe plenty of real modern conveniences. It starts with two tan leather bucket seats with enough modern bolstering to be all-day comfortable. The tan on the carpeting, door panels, headliner, and even the trunk are all done to match, and the exterior's red returns as an accent for a well-coordinated package. The driver gets a woodgrain banjo steering wheel, a tilt column, and a digital gauge cluster with a cool red glow to match the dash. A custom like this is truly meant for cruising, and so the overall impression is about being an easy space to hop in on a whim and go for a drive. It's this easy-going attitude that's also why you get comfortable features such as cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, and an AM/FM/CD/DVD stereo with fold-out screen.
The engine bay looks impressive too. The smooth inner walls and valve covers are painted the exterior red. And the only brighter shine comes from components, like the polished air grabber, alternator, compressor, and other accessories. More than just style, this has the substance of a 350 cubic-inch ZZ4 crate V8. It's built with a Holley 750 CFM dual-feed four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake. There are the right supporting components, too, like the MSD ignition package, braided hoses, new plugs, new wires, and billet brackets. The headers add power while feeding the rumbling dual exhaust. We bet you can tune this for a big power hot rod if you want, but right now we like that this is more about being a smooth all-around versatile cruiser. That's why you also have upgrades like four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. And there are more solid investments for an anytime driver like the Fat Man independent front end, a rear sway bar, power steering, power brakes, and front discs.
This '37 Chevy has been given all the best in thoughtful details to make for an awesome custom cruiser. So the only thing missing is you. Call today!!!
