This 1958 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible may look like a classic C1, but as you dig deeper, you'll see the fuel-injected LS1 V8, six-speed transmission, loaded A/C interior, four-wheel disc brakes, modern frame, and fully independent suspension of the C4. So that makes for a slick restomod with all the best modern luxuries and awesome moves on the streets.

For many of us, 1958 is the ideal place to start a restomod build. The first-gen Corvette was in a sweet spot where it had been updated to the commanding quad headlight front end, but the rear still had the classic angular style. It was a blending of vintage and new which is the overall theme of this custom build. You see it in the paint where it has the right tone for a year-correct Silver Blue, and the Inca Silver was even available for the side coves. However, the metallic radiance these colors have today is something the factory could never deliver.
