383 V8, TH350 3SPD AUTO, CUSTOM BUILD IN/OUT, RADICAL PAINT, CLEAN TOP-2-BOTTOM!

We know you're checking out this 1932 Ford Highboy Roadster Pickup because it looks like it could be that perfect one where a bold street machine has all the right upgrades. After all, this was built by a master constructor who did one just for him. So he reportedly took about three years carefully to assemble an award-worthy custom presentation. And they even added a fuel-injected stroker V8 on top to make sure this lives up to its jet-streak looks. So when a low-mileage, performance-built full custom is up for grabs, it's time to take notice.

This is a custom creation from Brinkley Manufacturing. The boss was building this one for himself, so you get a level of thoughtfulness when time and money are not as important as quality. There's a sleekness that comes from details like using a custom fiberglass hood to merge right into the windshield and doors. And the rear section of the tub is from a phaeton to make sure you get that smooth wraparound look. But the real hallmark piece is the roof. It's a custom low-slung fiberglass hardtop that fits with the car's attitude. After all, that awesome shade of Creamsicle Candy Orange looks like it was spread over the piano black by parking ...

After all, that awesome shade of Creamsicle Candy Orange looks like it was spread over the piano black by parking this in front of a jet engine and letting the rush of air create those clean streaks down the body. And the hardtop completes the wind-swept look. And when you want the wind through your hair, it lifts off for a true roadster style. Overall, it's a show-ready fit and finish that hardly shows any of the 2,500 miles of pleasure drives since it was completed. So you can appreciate all the details, including the high-polish Cragar 390c Street Pro wheels, classic '32 waterfall grille, custom bed with tonneau, and the awesome rear end that showcases both the custom pinstriping and Winters Performance Grand National; quick change rear end.

The interior is just as thoughtful as the exterior. That's why the orange rolls over the top of the body tub and cleanly continues on the top of the inside. This was built with good cruiser features like seat belts, bear claw door latches, cup holders, and a touchscreen AM/FM/XM infotainment system with Bluetooth and a backup camera. There are even provisions for R134a air conditioning (it likely just needs a recharge to blow cold again.) There's terrific contouring where you not only have well-bolstered bucket seats, but also the door panels are also molded for long armrests and comfort. And you have a great driver's package with a banjo-style sports steering wheel, a polished tilt column, and a full set of AutoMeter readouts - including the large column-mounted Autogage tach. And the Sniper EFI controller under the dash is a nice hint at something extra special under the hood.

The piano hinge of the hood puts the ultra-tidy and ultra-shiny powerhouse on full display. This is reported to be a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 that has been enhanced further with a roller camshaft and Sanderson headers. And it's topped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system to give you the best in power and consistency. The undercarriage photos will reveal a strong boxed steel frame, a Heidts Superide independent front suspension, and a four-link rear with adjustable coilovers. And the three-speed automatic transmission and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes make for an all-around solid cruiser.

The sale comes complete with service manuals and a copy of a magazine feature article. When a true professional builds one for himself, the results are stunning. So don't miss this roadster pickup. Call now!
