You instantly recognize the iconic silhouette of this 1932 Ford Highboy. But when was the last time you saw one of these street machines with big block power, an overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and an award-worthy custom interior? So as you look over this beautifully coordinated package, you'll see a thoughtful build of a mean roadster.
You're looking at a quality Downs body. It has a carefully crafted style that works with ultra-glossy red paint so that the sunlight shows off a higher level of uniform quality as the light evenly dances across the whole car. This one skips the fenders and shaves the door handles to get that smooth look that all the top Highboys have. It has the right polished pieces, like the waterfall grille, headlight surrounds, and front suspension. So it gets the fundamentals right. But there's a uniqueness to this where you can tell they put extra thought into everything. It's in the awesome rake of the So-Cal windshield. Not only is the chassis color-matched, but so is the full motor. And you may be so busy noticing the awesome Dayton wire wheels that you may not see the matching pinstripes.

Occasionally you see '32 quality builds with well-fitting folding roofs, but rarely do you also get well-fitting side curtains to properly button up when you want to. Of course, as a hot rod, this is all removable, so you can always be a proper roadster. And you are also going to want to showcase this full custom interior. This has a bench seat to be vintage, but now it's contoured for comfort and finished in supple Ultraleather. And the pleats in the seats have a matching pattern everywhere, from the door panels to the full finished trunk. Red carpeting, a smooth red dash, and a white-rimmed steering wheel are all part of this uniform build. You have the bed in driver's features with Mooneyes gauges, an Ididit polished tilt column, and Billet Specialties wheel. There's an AM/FM/CD stereo with a CD changer and USB input for the best in driving music. It's mounted on the rear panel, but there's a wired remote mounted on the cup holder center console for added convenience. So yes, this does feel like quite a thoughtful build.
You knew from the moment you laid eyes on this custom that the motor deserved to be displayed for everyone to see. But more than just stylish, this has the substance of a 454 cubic-inch big-block V8. Topped with a Holley Street Avenger four-barrel carburetor, this is a powerful crate motor said to make 425 horsepower right out of the box. And it makes sure to announce this authority as Sanderson Limefire headers feed the ceramic-coated dual exhaust pipes and Borla mufflers. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission was already a great performance unit even before this one was upgraded with performance clutches, shift kit, and 2500 stall converter. This feeds a Powertrax limited-slip 9-inch rear. As you look at this underneath, you'll also spot upgrades like the strong TCI chassis, Super Bell chrome front axle, four-link rear with adjustable coilovers, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes.
We don't have enough room to list all the quality components they packed into this hot rod, so give us a call for all the details. But you already know this one mixes the best traditional pieces with awesome custom elements in a way that makes people sit up and take notice. It's a fantastic Deuce roadster you can take home today. Call now!
