Description

This 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible we have for you today is one of those hot rods. Its Green Gray Metallic painted steel body and fenders sport hand-painted blue pinstripes, complementing its black convertible top and clean trim delete.
Inside, we find graphite leather seating with a pair of later-model buckets up front and a bench in back. A Lecarra steering wheel, a newer analog five-pod dashboard, and a modern stereo with Bluetooth and an iPod plug-in all adorn this hot rod's interior.
Sitting on top of its Mustang II front end, under the hood we find a GM Goodwrench 350 cubic-inch crate V-8 topped with a Holley carb and Power Plus Intake, as well as a set of shorty headers, dual exhaust, and Raptor muffler to expel spent gasses in no time. That engine is mated to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that sends power out to a Ford nine-inch rear end. Riding on a coil spring front and leaf spring rear suspension, this Ford has just the right stance to show off its 15-inch American Racing Torq Thurst wheels. Behind those venerable hot-rodder rims are a set of power disc brakes at both the front and rear of the car.
