Description
Not everything born in the early 1970s has made it to the mid-2020s looking as good as this 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne pickup. The straight, resprayed orange and white exterior is accented with chrome highlights to give this truck fantastic curb appeal. And though it didn't make it fifty-plus years without any dings or dents, the repairs have been done with good work and are very hard to notice unless directly pointed out. Inside, we find a custom black vinyl interior complemented by deep wood grain panels on the doors and dashboard. An exceptionally eye-catching Forever Sharp six-spoke, wood-rimmed steering wheel sits aft of an updated seven-gauge dashboard.
Under the hood of this long-bed beauty, we are treated to an updated GM Goodwrench 350 cubic-inch crate V-8 engine. Handwritten historical notes tell us that the engine was installed in 2006, with the odometer reading 71,884 at the time of the install (currently 81,250 miles). Power from that motor gets routed through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission before heading off the 12-bolt rear. Fifteen-inch rally-style wheels shod in Firestone Destination LE rubber, hiding power disc brakes up front and power drums at the rear.

This 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne long bed pickup comes with its original owner's manual, handwritten maintenance records, and a historical GA title. Power front disc brakes and power rear drums help keep speed under control, while power steering makes any drive short or far a breeze. So, while there are many things that may not have held up over the last half of a century, this classic pickup truck has aged as gracefully as a Hollywood starlet, with the requisite work done over the years to keep it looking young.
