ONLY 30,585 MILES, 6.6L DURAMAX LLY, 5SPD ALLISON AUTO TRANS, CLEAN IN/OUT, NICE

You already know what this is. You know there's no place it can't go. And it's still the biggest, baddest piece of off-road kit anyone could own. In short, this 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha is the ultimate 4x4 and it's likely to stay that way, and with a full Alpha Conversion (a 6.6L Duramax spinning an Allison automatic transmission), Black Metallic paint, a custom interior, and only 30,585 actual miles on the clock it's one of the cleanest, coolest, and lowest-mileage examples we've ever seen.

Arnold Schwarzenegger would chase after this baby as if it were an unsuspecting au pair. That's how off-the-charts SWEET this thing is. You've admired trucks like this in the past, but few are built to this level. There are reconstructed military cast-offs and plenty of domesticated versions of the Hummer, but this monster takes everything about the H1 and turns it up to '11'. There's the Black Metallic paint job, which in and of itself is very sinister and exciting, and when it's on a vehicle this size and accented with a lot of matching black hardware, well, the look is spectacular. It's the 'truck' version of the H1, which is still the one to own because it's practical and stylish, and this one shows ... Please ask for the full description.

It's the 'truck' version of the H1, which is still the one to own because it's practical and stylish, and this one shows few signs of having ever been off-roading. Instead, it's lived an easy life and never had to tackle anything this side of a gravel driveway, and thanks to those low miles, it shines up way better than most of its kind. Sure, there are a few tiny signs of use up front from the road, but the Hummer wears these and any future imperfections like a Marine wears his scars – with great pride. The overall look is very clean, with a top-end driver quality not usually found on H1s, and the curb appeal is unmatched by anything on the road. Upgrades include a heavy-duty front brushguard, tow hooks, a 12K pound winch, KC offroad lighting, and an extra plush soft-top that tightly stretches from windshield to tailgate. There's just nothing more hardcore than it on the road, and even though this H1 has been 'civilized' for the modern road, it's still a bruiser that can move a mountain on command.

If you've been in the service, you probably won't recognize the luxurious accommodations inside. Stylish and comfortable custom leather black buckets with white piping and 'Alpha' stitched in the seatbacks are a big upgrade front and rear, and a luggage rack in between the buckets out back means it's both spacious and practical. The engine and drivetrain live in the wide center console, up high and out of harm's way. Still, it's been well insulated and glamourized with cup holders and storage cubbies, and the upgraded 6.6L Duramax V8 has a more muted sound, not a deafening roar. Full gauges, an industrial set of switches that span the dash, a sporty 3-spoke steering wheel, powerful A/C, airbags, and even a GM-spec stereo are all part of the package, so driving this sucker is no hardship. The levers and knobs control the various drivetrain modes, lights, and power windows/locks, there are a couple of 12-volt outlets, and this sucker even has cruise control and an anti-theft system. Door panels are neatly tailored at the flanks, as are the floor coverings, and levers for the transmission, transfer case, and e-brake are just a short reach away for the driver. It feels like you're behind the wheel of a tank at first, but once you settle into the cockpit, it's obvious this H1 is much more luxurious than that. Out back, the bed can handle anything on this side of an RPG, and it's been extra-protected with a black spray-in bedliner that looks great.

Early versions of the H1 had wheezing, low-performance diesel engines that were reliable but slow. This one sports an original, Alpha-upgraded 6.6L Duramax LLY V8 turbo diesel mated to a 5-speed Allision automatic, and the difference is quite noticeable. No, it's still not a racer, but it cruises through traffic without effort, and the smoothness is a big improvement. And with only 30K miles on the clock and a recent service that included new .30 over fuel injectors, high-output exhaust manifolds, and a bigger turbo, this fierce drivetrain is barely broken in and ready to dominate until the next Ice Age. The engine bay still looks fairly stock and very clean, with signs of maintenance throughout (including a giant forward-canted radiator) and absolutely zero signs of off-roading or playing in the puddles. The body was recently taken off during service, at which point the interior was lined with sound deadener, everything was tidied-up, and the undercarriage was painted black. It's still typical Hummer under there, with the independent suspension, offset-drive hubs, inboard brakes and portal gears, and tucked-away driveline components (hence the hump inside the cabin) that offer incredible ground clearance, and a beefy exhaust system tucked up into the chassis where it'll be safe. The undercarriage has been further protected with roll-cage styling bracing and scuff pads, meaning this truck can confidently hit any terrain. With power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes, it's a wonderful rig to drive and handle on modern roads. Blacked-out XD wheels with 'Central Tire Inflation System' center caps look fantastic, and they're wrapped with beefy, go-anywhere 40x13.50x17 Yokohama M/T tires that can help it ford over 30-inches of water and climb a 22-inch step with ease.

Documented with build receipts/maintenance records, this is an H1 done the way it should have been from the start. Only Arnold has one that's better, but I bet it has more miles. Call today!
