Description
This is a great year to own a classic American car. 1946 was Ford's first car model year back in civilian production after WWII, and this business coupe signaled America was now back to peacetime work. It's a significant piece of American history, and so it's great to see it so well presented. After all, we see a lot of these business coupes altered to reflect how they were loved by the moonshiners who were the bedrock of stock car racing. But this one stays true to its original style with whitewall tires, classic chrome bumpers, premium Super Deluxe trim (including the wheel covers,) broadcloth interior, and a glossy/grippy steering wheel. But more than just keeping its vintage style, this car likes to be a cruiser. And so as you look through the details, you're going to see a long-term owned true classic with just the right details updates to make sure you'll love cruising it, too.

We love it when a significant car like this is also presented with such a correct and vintage style. But what makes this one even better are the well-placed upgrades. The alternator, 12-volt electrical system, and front disc brakes don't take away from the vintage driver feeling, but they do make it a better driver. Together, these mean nice details like the flathead V8 fires up better, the lights are better for those dawn drives, it stops with greater assurance, and it's easy to have a plug to charge your modern cell phone. Plus, the glasspacks on the dual exhaust do a great job of enhancing the V8 sound. So this fabulous '46 Ford is all about being authentic to its soul while still making sure it's a classic you'll love. Call today!!!
