NEW ZZ427/480 CRATE MOTOR, M22 TRANS, HIGH QUALITY RESTO, HOTCHKIS SUSPENSION

Oh look, another clean second-generation Camaro, right? Well, you're half right. It's definitely clean and it's definitely a second-generation Camaro, but it also packs a brand new 427 cubic inch V8 with just 68 miles on it, and all the right hardware to back it up.

Originally plain old gold, it now wears a coat of brilliant Cranberry Red that's really the right choice on a Camaro with this much performance inside. Freshly applied, it looks simply spectacular with fantastic bodywork underneath that keeps all of the original good looks of the second-gen Camaro intact; there's not even a cowl induction hood! It does, however, wear correct RS grille and front bumper assemblies plus a new set of spoilers front and rear so it looks just the way the designers intended. Great gaps, nice chrome, and those sharply-rendered black SS stripes all add to the car's impressive overall look. Clearly, saving money wasn't a factor here, because this work looks outrageously expensive. There's also high-quality brightwork, including bright bumpers, polished stainless window surrounds, and sparkling taillights that look fantastic.

The black interior looks quite stock at first glance, but once you climb ... Please ask for the full description.

The black interior looks quite stock at first glance, but once you climb behind the wheel you'll find a lot of smart upgrades. The black seats feature woven inserts that are grippy and comfortable thanks to new foam underneath. Fresh carpets, new door panels, and a beautifully finished dashboard with a carbon fiber dashboard and very cool Stewart Warner Green Line gauges. A correct RS steering wheel seems rather understated in a car with this much performance and charisma, but the floor-mounted 4-speed shifter seems right at home. A very clever AM/FM/mp3 stereo radio looks quite correct in the center of the dash and the overall effect is very, very impressive inside this Camaro. The back seat was also restored and the trunk has nothing to hide.

Yes, you did read that correctly, a brand new 427 cubic inch ZZ427/480 crate motor from General Motors Performance Parts was installed in September of 2014 and has just 68 test and tune miles on it today. With 480 horsepower on tap, performance is impressive to say the least. It's beautifully dressed with lots of chrome and polished aluminum, those high-visibility '427' valve covers, and a few splashes of color like the bright red plug wires. A big Holley carburetor and high-rise aluminum intake keep the big block fed and gorgeous Hooker headers dump into a 3-inch exhaust system with Magnaflow stainless mufflers and an X-pipe. The Muncie M22 "Rock Crusher" 4-speed doesn't seem to mind the torque and with a Moser 12-bolt out back full of 3.73 gears on a Posi, very few of those 480 horses are escaping. The undercarriage is very nicely finished thanks to a comprehensive rotisserie restoration and it's been upgraded to handle the power with a full Hotchkiss suspension setup. It wears factory ride height springs just because the owner liked the way they looked, but the Hotchkiss lowering springs are included. There are also a set of Hotchkiss subframe connectors to reinforce the body, always a smart choice when you're running this much horsepower through it. Factory-style SS wheels are some of the best-looking rolling stock of the period and are fitted with 225/60/15 front and 255/60/15 rear BFGoodrich radials.

Documented with receipts and manuals, this incredible Camaro is the kind of car that earns respect the hard way and looks awesome doing it. Call today!
