428 BIG BLOCK V8, C6 AUTO, POWER STEERING, FRONT DISC, AGRESSIVE COUPE!

Bold looks and an upgraded interior are nice, but what makes this 1968 Ford Mustang distinctly irresistible is the freshly-installed 428 big block under the hood. So you just know this pony car loves to gallop.

Yellow Jacket is a great name for this color. After all, this one has the kind of aggressive luster that looks like it could even glow in the dark. More than just an attention-grabbing yellow, the coupe lives up to the stinger-like name with black accents on places like the Deluxe hood, blackout grille, and rocker stripes. And while this one announces its High Performance attitude on the doors, you already knew that thanks to aggressive touches like the hood pins, 15-inch Mag wheels, blue dot headlights, and custom power dome in the hood. And while the GT badging is an upgrade, you're also going to see that there have been solid investments in making this a true power machine. So we're happy to see that this one never takes itself too seriously inside and out. After all, what good is a big block Mustang if you're too afraid to break in fresh asphalt?

The full black interior looks good against the yellow, and it delivers a driver-ready attitude with extra amenities. For ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

For example, the front bucket seats are more modern units with better bolstering. And these high-back units are finished in leather for a truly comfortable drive. There's also an armrest center console and cup holders. There are also provisions for features like air conditioning and an upgraded stereo, but they will need servicing. And as you grab the Grant GT sports steering wheel, you'll be excited to see driver upgrades like the large AutoMeter ProComp speedo and AutoMeter tach. After all, those are clear indications there have been nice investments in the engine bay, too.

1968 was a special year for the Mustang. It was when the mighty 428 made its first appearance under the hood. So this coupe pays tribute to that with a big block upgrade. In fact, we're told this V8 was only installed about 1k miles ago. It has nice upgrades like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and a dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. And there are also good supporting components like a newer aluminum radiator and a Monte Carlo bar. Out on the road, this enhanced pony is easy to harness thanks to features like the stout C6 three-speed automatic transmission (installed at the same time as the motor,) power steering, front disc brakes, and new rear tires.

Complete with maintenance records, this is a powerful pony that's a ton of fun to drive. Don't miss out, call today!
